Are you looking for a role that you can learn and grow within? One where you can draw upon your strengths?  Perhaps you should explore the avenue of business support. You can carve a fantastic career for yourself out of business support, with many roles at varying levels of responsibility and with great career progression too. At entry level, business support roles include office assistants, receptionists, and personal assistants. These roles are diverse, and no two days are the same. The variety of choices you have is so wide – think about it, every organisation in every industry needs support staff for their businesses – so it's really up to you what industry you would be more interested working within, whether it be financial services, law or an advertising or marketing agency! The experience you have will be unique to each industry and the culture there, but without a doubt, regardless of the industry you choose, you will gain valuable, transferrable skills that will stay with you for the rest of your career.  As mentioned above, the business support function offers a great opportunity when it comes to career progression. As you gain experience, and gain more knowledge about the business,  you will move up the ladder, perhaps from a personal assistant to an executive assistant, working alongside the CEO or Managing Director and supporting any decisions they need to make and processes they put in place. If you are a real people person and have good time management and organisational skills, business support could be a fantastic career path to choose. There is so much variety.
