Last Thursday evening, we attended the Manchester PA Awards launch event at The Tunnel Club, Manchester City. We have been aware of The Manchester PA Network for some time now, so when we were asked if we wanted to get involved and become a sponsor, we simply could not pass up the opportunity.

Over 80 support professionals from Manchester came together to attend the launch of this year’s awards.  We were all treated to a tour of the Ethiad Stadium, followed by a fabulous meal in The Tunnel Club.

The 2018 Manchester PA Awards will take place on Thursday November 1st, at Emirates Old Trafford, Lancashire County Cricket Club. The awards seek to celebrate and reward the incredible talent of PAs, EAs, VAs and support professionals across the Manchester business community.

“Since launching our Manchester office in October last year we have had the pleasure of meeting some of the members and co-founders of The Manchester PA Network.  We have been made to feel welcome and included and been overwhelmed at how they have brought together such a fantastic community of people that support, inspire and empower each other.  PAs and EAs are the back bone of any organisation, the unsung heroes  and it is fantastic to be a part of something that celebrates the work that they do.”

The awards are run by  the Manchester PA Network alongside event partner Make Events.  They operate on a not-for-profit basis and have a target to raise £200,000 by 2020 for The Christie.

Entries will open on Monday 26th February and entrants can be nominated for the following 13 categories:
