Gone are the days of adverts in the newspaper and paper CVs. With there being so many different job platforms and not to mention the vast deep dark hole that is the world wide web now, finding your perfect role can sometime feel like an impossible task, rather than an exciting beginning to a new chapter in your life. If this sounds like something you are experiencing or something that you have experienced, have you ever considered a recruitment agency? In this blog I am going to touch upon why using an agency may be the way forward for you. Recruitment agencies are a fantastic way to get a wider knowledge of what is out on the market, as well as getting an idea of salary guidelines. Our constant search of the web and interest in the job market takes out the hard work for you. Within my role at Lily Shippen I find it so rewarding, figuring out an individual’s talents and what their experience translates to salary wise. Which therefore allows me to find them the perfect role (which is the best feeling ever). My main priority as a recruiter is to make a hiring process as smooth and easy as possible for not only my clients but my candidates also. Giving my candidates background knowledge of a role before they decided they want to be put forward for it. Here at Lily Shippen we our aim to understand our candidates needs and discuss with them a role that will excite them. A recruitment agency will take the opportunity to understand what you are looking for. Following that we will tell you an in-depth description about the firms they are working with and act as the middle man to ensure your CV gets in front of the right people. A bonus of a recruitment agency is that they are in contact with their clients on a regular basis. I like to keep my clients updated on a regular basis which is amazing as it leads to building a strong rapport with them and understanding exactly what they are looking for in their ideal candidate. This is ideal for my candidates as it makes their process of finding a new role as easy as possible, enabling me to let them know what the firm is looking for. Ensuring them a higher chance of success securing their dream role. Its great being a recruiter knowing that I can make somebody’s day.
